Your first professional credential at the machine. An ASEAN Coffee Federation–certified foundation in espresso, milk texturing and drink construction — taught hands-on in small cohorts by a Head Trainer of the ASEAN Coffee Institute.

What you'll learn

  • Espresso fundamentals — grind, dose, tamp and extraction
  • Milk texturing for flat whites, lattes and cappuccinos
  • Drink construction and consistent recipe building
  • Machine workflow, dialing-in and basic maintenance
  • Café-floor hygiene, safety and service basics

Anyone starting their coffee journey — whether you're a learner restarting life, exploring a new trade, or stepping behind a machine for the first time. No experience needed; just a willingness to show up and learn.

Hands-on sessions at the Gateway East café, 5–8pm, with real espresso machines.

Practical assessment

Demonstrate your shots and milk craft for ACF certification.

Earn the ACF Level 1 credential, then progress to Level 2 or specialist modules.
